    Question Shop To Install Gears?

    Hello All

Can anybody recommend an experienced and reliable shop to install 4.10 gears in my 2005 Mustang GT, preferably in the Exton, Downingtown, Chester Springs, Malvern area?

    Thanks!
    Craig

I put 4:10 gears in my 06 and regretted it. However I had a blower on it, so had the HP to get off the line and had top end. Was a waste of money for me.

They were a lot of fun though.

I found the 3:73 were a much better choice. I was never able to duplicate or beat my best 1/4 mile time with the 4:10s.

    Good luck.

Question Re: Shop To Install Gears?

    Bob and Richard

Thanks very much for the input!

Somewhat mixed reviews on Evolution Performance. Any other recommendation for shops in the Downingtown, Exton, Chester Springs or Malvern area appreciated.

Regarding 4.10 gears vs. 3.73 (stock gears are 3.55:1), my Pony is a garage queen (2005 with 23K miles), that only comes out on sunny days (convertible). Relevant mods include cold air induction and a 93 octane performance tune (plus Ford Racing exhaust). I am interested in others' experience with 4.10's vs. 3.73's based on my set up.

    Thanks again,
    Craig R.
