We will be opening the gates to show vehicles and vendors at 8:00am. Please do not come on the grounds early. When I talked to them in Spring they already had over 80 arrests for this. Doors will open at 10am for spectators. The grounds are a mix of pavement allowing easy access, grassy area, and are well shaded by trees. Spectator fee will be $5.00 at the door with all proceeds going to support the cause.
Preregistration has begun and will be $20. The cost for vehicle entry at the door will be $25. All vehicle entries will include 2 adults. Children under 12 are free. Please feel free to bring chairs and reasonably sized shade tents.
PennHurst will being providing food and Nonalcoholic drinks for the event and donating their profits to the Liberty Fire Company and Friendship Ambulance. We request the you do not bring in outside beverages and food as this is a benefit show.
We will also have a beer garden provided by Tuned Up Brewing Company. They will be donating a portion of sales to the fundraising efforts also.
Who made this happen:
PennHurst Asylum
When I was not able to secure a location for the show PennHurst stepped in and donated the grounds and will also be making donations to the fire department. Without them the show would not be happening.
PECO: PECO contributed a grant to provide for Music, Trophies, and a lot of other details. This will allow all money raised to go to the Fire Department.
Liberty Fire Company
These are the people that risk their lives to keep Spring City safe and support many of the surrounding areas. They are also providing parking and security for the show, which will keep costs down and allow more funds to go to the department.
RSVP sign-ups for this event are now closed. |
