    My introduction

Hi, my name is Bruce, and I am owned by a 1968 Mustang coupe. My dad bought her new in 1968, and when I started to drive, I fell in love with the car. I drove the car for many years, but unfortunately had to put her in storage in 1989 (I won't bore people with the details why now). The good news is that she is out of storage; the bad news is she is in need of a lot of work to get her back on the road (which I have vowed to do). Compounding the bad news is I am a self proclaimed techno-moron and I have a lot to learn. Any guidance, assistance, access to tech manuals, kicks in the pants when I make mistakes, would be appreciated (I'll buy the beer, wine, pizza, etc). I am starting with the engine; in line 200ci. I don't know if it is worth keeping or if I should replace it (I would get a similar engine). So this is my cry for HELP! Thank you. Happy holidays to all. Take care, Bruce
(P.S: She is not for sale, don't even ask)

    Welcome Bruce,

I can't really offer any help with your vintage Mustang, but wanted to welcome you to the forum anyway.

We do have some members who may be able to help you out though. If not here, you might want to attend our January meeting and meet some folks there.

    Re: My introduction

Bruce: I also have a 200 CI in-line six, 1965 Mustang. It is spending the winter at the Mustang Barn as she is currently on life-support. She needs a new rear which Dan has acquired for her, may also need a new motor and transmission rebuild.
Dan Nolan is the best guy in the area to help you or give you advice. Tell him Jackie sent you and he'll treat you good. You can reach him at dan@mustangbarn.com or 215-768-9160
